The bluetooth part really is worth it though, with antenna the range and responsiveness is far better than the stock bluetooth from your mac pro (using a Mac Pro4,1 myself). I know this card very well and in fact I've had it for over 2 months now, and you can get it to work by using the external header and put that back in your backpanel of the pro. The custom appel header does pci-e + usb signals, so it won't ever do the bluetooth part. the strange thing is: why is wi-fi working and the bluetooth is not working trough the mini pci express? what is not working is the pci express adaptors. it recognizes the wi-fi ac but it doesn't recognize the bluetooth card.Īfter some test i realized that the card itself it's working. i put my bcm94360cs2 card from my macbook air 2013 into the adaptor of the mac pro. what happened?my mac pro recognized the wireless ac card but it didn't recognize the bluetooth card. So i put the card with the mini pci-express adaptor directly in my mac pro wi-fi card slot (without the pci express adaptor). Here's my terminal report (i did the kext mod that was posted here). However, my connection constantly keeps dropping out just like it did with 10.8.5, and I'm unsure of what to do. Hi all, I'm using the pce-ac66 card like others in this thread, and was hoping for a more stable experience with 10.9 GM kexts.

I am running 10.8.5 including the supplemental update (build 12F45). What can I do to fix this? I get all the channels in Windows 8 圆4. I still only get channels 1-11 as seen from the terminal comand.įirmware Version: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (6.30.225.29.1) I did the fix above hoping it would fix the limited channels supported which is only from channel 1 to 11, but it did not.
I have the Asus PCE-AC66 and when I first installed into my hackintosh x79 system, it was reported as Card Type: Third-Party Wireless Card. I have followed all the above instructions,Ĭard Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x854F)įirmware Version: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (6.30.223.74.24) I have installed the latest 10.8.5 beta, the card shows up and works, but the file transfer speed is abysmal. I have the same wifi card as pictured above.
